Locks and Dams

BACK

AIG has implemented control systems and HMI/SCADA systems to control miter gates, latches, valves, and other equipment in lock and dam applications, both on the Ohio River near Pittsburgh and throughout the country. Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems can be implemented to monitor and record gate status, drive system status, valve status, and water levels.

Based on the application, the SCADA system can then be configured to control gates, valves and other equipment as needed from a single, central location, such as an operator's station.
